Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to join our Change & Transformation practice, with an immediate deployment opportunity onsite with one of our largest Insurance clients, based in London. This will be to support the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of the Technology Change Management function within a Financial Services environment. Reporting into Service Delivery leadership, this role works cross-functionally across Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, End User Computing (EUC), and Operations to ensure technology changes are delivered in a controlled, transparent, and low-risk manner. The role supports agile delivery while maintaining strong controls aligned to ITIL 4 Change Enablement, ISO/IEC 27001, and DORA operational resilience requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain Change Management policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Design and continuously improve the strategic approach to managing technology change
  • Coordinate interfaces between Change Management and related processes, including Release & Deployment and Service Asset & Configuration Management
  • Assess change impact and organisational readiness to minimise operational and regulatory risk
  • Chair and coordinate the Change Advisory Board (CAB), reviewing Requests for Change (RFCs), resource availability, risk, and readiness
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of approved changes into live IT services
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews, including failed change analysis and Major Incident follow-ups
  • Ensure change implementation plans and instructions are clearly understood by delivery teams
  • Support training and communications activities related to change initiatives
  • Ensure appropriate risk assessments, approvals, and audit evidence are captured and maintained
  • Own and manage Change workflows within ServiceNow
  • Drive continuous improvement through reporting, metrics, and process optimisation
  • Act as a Change Management SME, advising senior stakeholders on best practice and improvements


Leadership & Delivery Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong ownership, resilience, and adaptability in a changing environment
  • Build effective relationships across Technology and Business stakeholders
  • Contribute to the wider Service Delivery function as an active team member
  • Ensure SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded
  • Promote a culture of technology excellence, standardisation, and operational discipline


Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Technology Change Management within complex, regulated environments
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL 4 Change Enablement and operational risk controls
  • Experience aligning change processes with ISO/IEC 27001 and DORA requirements
  • Hands-on experience managing Change processes in ServiceNow
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and how to enable change within them
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments with competing priorities


Desirable Experience

  • Change management certifications (e.g. PROSCI / ADKAR)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale technology or platform environments
  • Exposure to audit, regulatory review, or operational resilience programmes
