With c 100 employees, the Dalkia group centre has HR, Finance, Legal, IT, QSHE and Communications teams supporting our business unit colleagues in these specialisms. We provide technical expertise, governance, policy, guidance and support to the business units to provide a high-quality service to their own people and their clients. Roles in the centre work closely with Executive team to shape and deliver our strategic goals but also partner with the business functions to embed the values, behaviours and strategic ambitions.
The Role
- To support the implementation and management, as appropriate for all key HR & Payroll systems to support the operational requirements of the business.
- To assist the HR MI & Systems Manager with project delivery of new system integrations for Human Resources and Payroll.
- To support the on-going development of these systems to effectively and efficiently manage the HR processes and provide relevant information to the business.
- To own, design and deliver high quality HRMI – Human Resources Management Information to the UK business and Dalkia Group
This will be a 9 month fixed term maternity cover.
Responsibilities
As an HR Systems Analyst you will:
- Liaise with internal teams and external service providers and ensuring HR & payroll systems functionality.
- Support the HRMISM working with key stakeholders to compile HR & payroll system procedures and user training guidelines for employees and team members.
- Assist with encouraging and driving the use and understanding of the relevant HR & payroll systems.
- Own, develop and maintain regular business reporting for HR operations, Operational Management, Group requirements and any external third parties.
- Be responsible for designing, developing, testing and producing ad hoc reports as per requirements using reporting tools which includes Power BI, Business Objects and iTrent.
- Support the HRMISM with data audits and analysis, highlighting processes and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure upgrades, configuration and integration of HR & payroll systems are recorded through the change management system, to ensure a robust audit log is maintained.
- Assist with the specification, configuration, development and implementation of all HR & payroll systems, including reports, procedures and business processes.
- Ensure that system best practice is evaluated, communicated and implemented.
- Provide systems expertise with a professional and proactive approach to HR service delivery.
- Provide systems training to the HR & Payroll teams as and when required.
- Provide training and development for the launch of any central HR Systems and initiatives to the wider HR and operational teams.
- Provide second level contact for People Manager/Employee self-service, including the support of the overall delivery and ongoing success of the system.
- Support HRMISM with providing technical expertise to support troubleshooting on the specific systems which support the key HR processes
- Be responsible for the data maintenance of iTrent and all third-party HR systems
- Be responsible for maintaining HR system user accounts

Skills and experience
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting MHR iTrent and other HRIS platforms
- Strong understanding of core HR and payroll processes on HR / Payroll Systems
- Experience configuring workflows, security roles and system modules
- Experience working with HR, Payroll or people-related data
- Demonstratable experience in being able to identify areas for improvement with current processes and procedures
- Design and maintenance of Management Information
- Knowledge of iTrent Payroll/HR Systems
- Basic design knowledge of Business Objects and Power Bi
- High degree of attention to detail and numerate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Customer Services skills including excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Capability to translate technical details into a clear guidance
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload, while maintaining efficiency and quality of work
Desirable
- Understanding of system integrations or APIs
- Experience supporting system implementation or major upgrades
