Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

  • No hybrid or remote working during the first 12 months
  • Travel required

Duration: Formal performance reviewed every 6 months

Hours: Part-time: 6 hours per day, 5 days per week (30 hours total)

Performance bonus: Up to 25% of base pay, reviewed every 6 months

Reviews: Formal performance and pay reviews every 6 months


Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed in line with company policy.

Role Overview


GC Biosciences is seeking a hands-on Marketing and Media Operator to execute and scale its content and digital marketing across all platforms.


This is an embedded, execution-focused role responsible for creating, editing, publishing, and optimising content while also building and delivering structured marketing campaigns across Meta (Instagram/Facebook) and Google/YouTube.


You will work closely with directors and clinical experts to translate complex, evidence-led health programmes into compelling, compliant marketing that drives awareness, trust, and qualified leads.


This role is designed as a development pathway into a senior marketing position within GC Biosciences.


Core Responsibilities:


1. Content Creation and Media Execution

· Film, edit, and publish:

· short-form video (Reels, Shorts)

· podcast episodes (recording, editing, clipping)

· educational and promotional content

· Create written content including:

· social media captions

· programme descriptions

· website and landing page copy (with oversight)

· Translate clinical and scientific input into clear, accurate, audience-appropriate content.


2. Programme-Level Marketing Campaigns

· Create and execute marketing plans for GC Biosciences programmes, including:

· Longevity Programme

· IBS Reset

· Metabolic 360 (M360)

· Plan campaign objectives, messaging, content formats, and delivery timelines.

· Build and run paid campaigns across:

· Meta (Instagram / Facebook)

· Google / YouTube (search and video)


3. Performance Tracking and Optimisation

· Monitor engagement, reach, and lead indicators.

· Use performance data to refine messaging, formats, and campaigns.

· Report regularly on what is working, what is not, and proposed improvements.


4. Brand, Compliance and Quality Control

· Ensure all output aligns with GC Biosciences’ premium, evidence-led brand.

· Avoid over-claiming; maintain awareness of regulated and clinical communication standards.

· Work closely with leadership and clinicians to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Skills and Experience


Essential


  • Strong practical skills in content creation and editing (video, audio, short-form).
  • Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and digital content formats.
  • Ability to organise and execute campaigns end-to-end.
  • Comfortable learning clinical and scientific concepts.
  • High personal standards for quality and clarity.


Either


  • A relevant degree (marketing, media, communications, or similar), or
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with evidence of prior content or campaigns.


Desirable


  • Experience running Meta or Google ads.
  • Exposure to health, wellness, or regulated industries.
  • Portfolio of published content.
