Sales Operations Executive

Location: Wilmslow – 2 days Wilmslow HQ, 3 days from home

Salary: £25,155 per annum + commission OTE up to 45k+

The Citation Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Executive to join our fast-paced and growing Contact Centre team. We’re looking for someone with an excellent organisational skills, and a collaborative approach to working across teams. The role

• Allocate and process a high volume of inbound leads (around 200 per day) using Salesforce, shared inboxes and lead queues.
• Ensure all commercial enquiries are passed to the correct team across the business in line with agreed rules of engagement.
• Carry out data quality checks on inbound leads, including verifying company details via Companies House.
• Monitor what happens to leads once assigned, spotting trends or issues and flagging them to the appropriate teams.
• Listen back to customer calls to assess the quality of appointments booked and ensure they meet business standards.
• Share call recordings and feedback with colleagues to support learning and continuous improvement.
• Act as a professional first point of contact for inbound customer calls.
• Process appointment cancellations accurately, updating systems and notifying relevant teams.
• Work closely with Sales teams and stakeholders across HSD, Food Alert, Citation and iHasco to support smooth lead handling and customer experience.

• Listens closely, spots the small details and takes real care in getting things right.
• Keen to grow, improve and stretch their skills as they develop.
• Experience in sales or a contact centre is helpful, although not essential.
• Stays organised, dependable and fully at ease with day-to-day admin.
• Appreciates how powerful great customer service can be and strives to deliver it.
• Works naturally as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues with ease.
