Job description

We are the preferred AV support service provider to a leading corporate event venue renowned for its high standards, exceptional service, and state-of-the-art facilities. This role is key to ensuring the seamless delivery of in-house AV services across conferences, meetings, and live events.


As Venue Account Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day AV operation at the venue, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, venue staff, and internal teams. You’ll combine technical expertise with strong client management skills to deliver flawless event experiences.


Key Responsibilities


AV Support & Event Delivery

  • Work closely with the venue sales team and clients to understand event requirements and provide expert AV advice
  • Conduct pre-event technical assessments and design tailored AV solutions
  • Generate, manage, and administer AV quotations for all venue events
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee AV delivery for confirmed events
  • Operate as an on-site AV technician when required


Operational & Team Management

  • Schedule AV staff to ensure appropriate coverage for all events
  • Manage and resolve AV equipment shortages
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live events
  • Ensure all in-house equipment is maintained and fully operational
  • Liaise with the warehouse team regarding repairs and replacements


Client & Venue Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
  • Act as a trusted AV partner to venue stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies and recommend upgrades where appropriate


About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in audio-visual management
  • Strong hands-on technical knowledge of professional AV systems
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Knowledge of AV industry standards and best practices
  • Must live within a 60-minute commute of Central London
