Senior/Lead Full Stack TypeScript Engineer

Remote / Hybrid

Up to £130k + Up to 0.3% Equity

We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Full Stack TypeScript Engineer with 5+ years of experience building scalable products. A huge plus if in fast-moving startup environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full stack applications using TypeScript
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to deployment
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership to ship impactful features
• Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with TypeScript across frontend and backend
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar
• Experience building backend services with Node.js
• Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable architecture
• Comfortable taking ownership and operating with high autonomy
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience scaling systems from early stage to growth phase
• Prior experience in Seed to Series B startups
