This is a rare opportunity to become part of an award-winning creative house renowned for shaping trends and delivering premium collections to leading high-street fashion brands. The ideal candidate will combine bold creative energy with strong technical capability and exceptional attention to detail, playing a key role in the evolution of trend-led swimwear collections that capture both market relevance and artistic distinction.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

  • Conceptualize and develop original, trend-driven swimwear designs for leading high-street brands.
  • Contribute to seasonal colour, fabric, and micro-trend development, helping shape the creative direction of each collection.
  • Transform ideas into compelling sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Collaboration & Project Leadership

  • Partner closely with account managers and offshore product development teams to finalise and deliver seasonal lines.
  • Present concepts and collections to clients with clarity and commercial insight.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and production teams across the UK, Europe, and the Far East.

Fabric & Material Innovation

  • Curate and select fabrics, trims, and finishes that elevate the aesthetic and performance of swimwear ranges.
  • Conduct material testing and quality assessments to ensure durability, comfort, and excellence.

Technical Design & Development

  • Produce precise tech packs and specification sheets, ensuring design intent is maintained from concept through production.
  • Oversee and support offshore development teams, ensuring design consistency and accuracy to brief.
  • Collaborate in fittings and prototype reviews to refine fit, comfort, and silhouette.

Quality & Delivery

  • Maintain high-quality design execution and ensure all samples meet brand and production standards.
  • Work in collaboration with QA teams to resolve development or production challenges promptly and effectively.

About You

Background & Experience

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience designing for high-street or contemporary fashion brands.
  • Strong understanding of consumer trends and the dynamics of the global fashion retail market.
  • Technical expertise in generating tech packs and managing offshore sampling or production workflows.

Skills & Attributes

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with 3D design tools an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client-facing roles.
  • Meticulous organisation and time management, with the ability to balance creativity and commerciality.
  • Passionate, proactive, and solution-oriented — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
