MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading consumer brand on the search for a Sales Manager. This is a Perm role based in London.
You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with partners across EMEA, driving sales growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will involve occasional business travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve targets across a portfolio of licensed apparel and accessories brands.
- Identify and acquire distributor partners across Central Europe, Scandinavia, and the Middle East.
- Identify upselling opportunities and introduce new products or services to existing partners.
- Build trusted relationships with partners, understanding their business models across wholesale, retail, and online channels.
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and adjust business plans.
- Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and gather competitor intelligence to identify opportunities and threats.
- Lead category management conversations with customers, using insights to influence commercial decisions.
- Participate in key business meetings, including annual planning, commercial strategy, forecast validation, demand planning, and brand reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to senior leadership and the wider business.
- Develop and implement consumer-focused brand-building plans with partners, including purchase and distribution targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an International Accounts Manager, Distributor Manager, or similar role within the sports, fashion, or FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of the sporting goods and/or fashion industry, including key players and market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international customers and distributors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (internal and external).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the EMEA region for client meetings, events, and trade shows.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creative thinking within defined brand guidelines.
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a collaborative team spirit.
- Culturally aware and adaptable in diverse business environments.
- Willingness to be office-based in London when not travelling, contributing to a high-performance team culture.
