Bid Writer

London | Full-time | On-site

Up to £75,000 DOE

You know that good bids aren’t about templates — they’re about clarity, structure and credibility.

You’ve written bids in construction and understand how work is actually delivered on site. Planned maintenance experience is a plus, but strong construction backgrounds translate well here, especially if you know public-sector frameworks and what evaluators are really looking for.

In this role, you’ll own bids end-to-end. You’ll shape win themes, lead tender kick-offs, pull together technical and commercial input, and turn it into clear, persuasive submissions that stand up to scrutiny. Your judgement matters here, you’re trusted to challenge, refine and improve the quality of what goes out.

This is a role for someone who wants to:

• Take ownership rather than just assemble content
• Write bids that reflect real delivery capability
• Work closely with operational teams, not in isolation
• Help raise the standard of bidding across the business

You’ll be supported, given visibility, and encouraged to bring ideas — whether that’s improving bid structure, using AI tools intelligently, or shaping how future tenders are approached.
