Lead Cost Engineer – Major Infrastructure Programme

£550 per day

West- London (hybrid working)

Contract role

We’re supporting a major infrastructure programme in London and are looking for an experienced Lead Cost Engineer to take ownership of cost management across a complex delivery environment.

This is a senior role with real influence — not just reporting, but shaping cost control, forecasting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across the programme or key workstreams
• Develop and maintain cost plans, forecasts, and cost reports
• Manage change control, trends, and cost risk
• Interface with project controls, commercial, and delivery teams
• Provide clear cost insight to senior stakeholders

Ideal Background

• Proven experience as a Senior / Lead Cost Engineer on large infrastructure projects
• Strong forecasting, cost control, and reporting capability
• Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Infrastructure, energy, transport, or regulated sector experience preferred
