Experienced London Underground Air Conditioning Engineer – Long-Term Contracts

We’re recruiting a highly experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for long-term night-shift contracts across the London Underground network.

Ongoing work with an established M&E contractor, supporting the installation of new air-conditioning systems on live LU sites.

Location: London Underground Network

Hours: Night shifts (22:00–04:30)

Contract: Long-term / ongoing

Rates: Subject to experience

Requirements:

✔ Proven experience in a rail or similar safety-critical environment (preferred)

✔ NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)

✔ Valid F-Gas certification

✔ Strong installation experience (split systems, VRV/VRF, pipework & plant)

✔ ICI / LU induction desirable – can be booked if required

✔ Rail-safe, reliable, and team-focused

Responsibilities:

Installation of new air-conditioning systems

Pipework, plant installation & equipment mounting

Pressure testing, evacuation & commissioning support

Working to drawings, RAMS & LU safety procedures

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
