Composite Inspector – Formula 1

⏳ Contract initially to End of April

£per hour based on experience

Monday–Thursday 21:00–07:30 / Friday to Sunday 07:00 – 19:00

GTS are looking for experienced Composite Inspectors to join a high-performance Formula 1 operation in Silverstone, supporting night-shift inspection of critical composite components during a busy period of the season.

What you’ll be doing:

• Inspect finished and in-process composite components
• Write and execute inspection programs using PolyWorks
• Carry out geometric validation of moulds, jigs, and parts
• Use Romer Arms and Laser Trackers for dimensional checks
• Report inspection results clearly and accurately
• Support night-shift production with a flexible, proactive approach

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in composite manufacturing or inspection
• Strong working knowledge of PolyWorks Metrology Suite
• Experience with Romer Arms and Laser Trackers
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Calm and confident under pressure, night-shift ready

Available Contracts:

• Contractor Nights: Mon–Thu 21:00–07:30
• Contractor Weekend Nights: Fri–Sun 07:00–19:00
