Lefties is looking for a Deputy Manager

Job description

DEPUTY STORE MANAGER

(Store Leadership — Lefties UK)

Who we are

Lefties is a part of the Inditex family of brands, within one of the world’s leading fashion retail groups, with global brands including Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home.

Fashion is what we sell. How we work is what sets us apart: teamwork, respect, curiosity and sustainability, with people at the center of every success. As Lefties expands in the UK, we’re building teams who thrive on pace, purpose and customer-first retail.

The role

As a Deputy Store Manager, you are a commercial and people leader who supports the Store Manager to deliver results and create a strong store culture. You balance performance with empathy, using insight, emotional intelligence and great organisation to keep the store running at its best — especially during the busiest moments.

You’ll be hands-on, customer-led and adaptable, bringing calm focus under pressure and helping your team feel supported, motivated and ready to win the day.

This role is for you if you…

  • Lead with emotional intelligence, integrity and a positive mindset
  • Stay calm under pressure and make smart decisions quickly
  • Are reliable, well organised and strong at managing time and priorities
  • Are adaptable — you respond well to change and keep the team moving
  • Are confident analysing sales and turning insight into action
  • Believe great results come from great teams + great customer experiences
  • Are resilient and ambitious, always looking to learn, improve and progress

What you’ll do

  • Analyse commercial and product data to improve sales and productivity
  • Respond proactively to performance changes, making timely decisions
  • Translate KPIs into clear priorities and motivating actions for the team
  • Lead, develop and support your team in a high-energy environment
  • Ensure all customer touchpoints are welcoming, engaging and efficient
  • Oversee daily store operations with consistency, pace and care
  • Maintain strong store standards across product, stock flow and routines
  • Act as an ambassador for Inditex sustainability initiatives

What we offer

Competitive salary, 25% staff discount across all Inditex brands, 28 days holiday allowance, company pension scheme and the “More for Less” benefits platform with a wide range of discounts.

At Inditex, internal talent is our greatest asset. We offer clear progression opportunities, continuous learning through training and e-learning, and the chance to contribute to social and sustainability projects that make a real difference.

We are committed to creating a recruitment process that is inclusive and accessible to everyone. Adjustments are available for candidates with disabilities or long-term conditions.
