Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility for some remote work.
Market Advice & Client Support
- Deliver clear, actionable market advice to growers and agribusiness clients.
- Support pricing decisions, risk management, storage, and marketing strategies.
- Lead regular client calls, meetings, and seasonal reviews.
- Act as a trusted advisor through strong relationships and a deep market understanding.
Content & Insight
- Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary.
- Provide insight for reports, webinars, and presentations.
- Support analysts when required.
Commercial
- Support client retention through strong relationships.
- Target driven customer acquisition - owning and managing the sales cycle.
- Customer development.
- Assist with onboarding new advisory clients and support of existing clients.
- Identify emerging client needs and commercial opportunities.
Industry Engagement
- Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
- Maintain strong networks across industry.
- Focus on building network and brand recognition through innovative ideas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commodities or related industries
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Proven track record in P&L management, sales leadership, BD role.
- Self-organized and capable of managing time across multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with quantitative researchers, traders, and senior business leaders.
- Confident communicator who can articulate points clearly and handle differing viewpoints constructively.
