Front End Software Engineer

A growing product-led company is looking for a Front End Software Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where the successful candidate will shape the front end experience across web and mobile.

The front end applications are core to the product and support long, active user sessions. The main challenges involve building media-heavy, high-performance experiences that are responsive, reliable, and polished.

The role

• Own and evolve the front end across web and mobile
• Design and build user-facing features for a global audience
• Influence product and technical decisions through experience and judgement
• Maintain a high standard for code quality, testing, and delivery
• Contribute across the stack where it helps the team move faster
• Work closely with a collaborative, product-focused team

Tech stack

• React Native across web and mobile
• .NET backend APIs
• AWS infrastructure
• CI/CD via GitHub Actions

About you

• Strong front end engineering skills with a focus on usability and performance
• Experience shipping and supporting production software
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Familiar with continuous delivery and automated release pipelines
• Happy to work across the full stack when needed
• Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborative environments
• Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage products
• Strong engineering fundamentals and product judgement are valued over narrow framework expertise.
