Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Technology & Networking Sector


London | £26k OTE £35k–£40k in Year 1 | Uncapped Commission

We’re recruiting motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join a fast-growing specialist recruitment team that places technical talent across enterprise networking, telecommunications, cyber security and data centre markets. This business is built on deep industry expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, and everyone - from senior consultants to Directors - began their journey in this very role.


About The Company

You’ll join a specialist recruitment consultancy that connects talent with the companies building the infrastructure that powers the internet. With clients ranging from global enterprises to innovative tech firms, teams operate across:


  • Enterprise & Network Security
  • Telecommunications & Fibre
  • Data Centres / Cloud / Infrastructure


The business has grown internationally over the last decade and continues to build its reputation as a leader within its niche.


What You’ll Do

This is a structured recruitment career path with hands-on training and rapid progression:

  • Start in 180 recruitment — learning sourcing, candidate outreach and screening
  • Buddy-up with an experienced Consultant who will train you
  • As you develop, gradually take on Business Development responsibilities
  • Evolve into 360 recruitment (full desk) as you progress


Development & Progression

  • Trainee → Consultant: 4–7 months
  • Consultant → Senior: ~12 months
  • Regular pay reviews between levels
  • Supportive training and mentorship


Average billed deal value is around £10k with uncapped 25% commission, no thresholds. ✨
