Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to help us grow our network of corporate partners.


This role sits at the very start of our partnership journey. You’ll be the person opening doors, starting thoughtful conversations, and helping organisations understand how they can engage with and support the Women Automotive Network.


It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys outreach, research, and early-stage relationship building and who wants to grow into a long-term career in partnerships or sales.


The role

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll support the growth of our corporate membership, sponsorships, and partnerships by identifying the right organisations, initiating conversations, and qualifying interest before handing opportunities to our senior team.


What you’ll be doing

  • Research and identify relevant organisations and decision-makers
  • Run structured outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls)
  • Start early conversations to understand company priorities and fit
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads
  • Book introductory and discovery calls for senior team members
  • Keep the CRM organised and up to date
  • Follow up consistently to maintain engagement
  • Share simple feedback from the market (questions, objections, trends)
  • Support light sales admin and proposal follow-up when needed


What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales support, SDR, or lead generation roles
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Clear, confident communication across email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • A proactive, reliable mindset with strong follow-through
