The Role

Over the past 12 months, Coco Cubes has achieved rapid growth, securing national and regional wholesale listings with some outstanding distribution partners. We are looking for a Business Development Manager that will build on this success, with a clear objective to expand distribution into additional wholesale and retail accounts and work alongside our Head of Sales to increase rate of sale across existing partners.


As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth and building strong relationships with key retail, foodservice and distribution partners. You’ll work closely with the Founder and leadership team to execute sales strategies that put Coco Cubes on more shelves and into more hands.


Key Responsibilities

Account Management

Manage and grow relationships with national and regional distributors and retail accounts.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional agreements to maximize profitability.


Business Development

Identify and secure new distribution opportunities across retail, foodservice and wholesale channels.

Develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective partners.


Sales Strategy & Execution

Deliver against sales targets and KPIs.

Work with Marketing to align trade promotions and brand activations.

 

Market Insights & Reporting

Monitor category trends and competitor activity.

Provide regular reports on account performance and growth opportunities.


Collaboration

Partner with Production to ensure smooth delivery and stock management.

Support community and brand-building initiatives that strengthen relationships.


What we’re looking for

Experience:

2+ years in FMCG sales or account management (confectionery or snacks experience is a plus).

Proven track record of hitting sales targets.

Experience managing relationships with national or regional distribution and retail accounts.


Skills:

Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure the best deals.

Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.

Commercial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Confident communicator with outstanding presentation skills but also a good listener

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
