About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Lead for our Midlands / South region to support the successful launch and ongoing growth of the Changan brand in the UK.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the business at a crucial moment as we establish our UK business. The successful candidate should be strategic, proactive, and possess a strong commercial approach to network development and delivery of sales targets.

As the Regional Lead, you will be responsible for executing the network strategy, managing dealer relationships, and driving sales performance across the UK network. You will play a key role in building a robust network of high-performing franchise partners, ensuring they are aligned with Changan’s brand values, sales targets, and customer experience standards.


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Sales & Network Development in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a variety of audiences, from dealer management to senior internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong numerical ability and understanding of spreadsheet and database tools
  • Ability to influence senior external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver cross functional objectives.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, recruitment, and on-boarding of high-quality dealers across key locations, ensuring alignment with Changan's brand values, strategy, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Monitor and drive dealer performance through the development and implementation of sales targets, KPIs, and reporting frameworks, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Manage Business Plan appraisals with potential investors on a site-by-site basis to make recommendations to the Changan UK management team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, internal stakeholders, and external organisations to ensure the successful growth of the Changan brand in the UK.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of individual dealer and site-level sales performance. Identify trends, strengths, and areas of opportunity, providing detailed reports with actionable insights for improvement.
  • Deliver showroom facilities in line with Changan’s corporate identify roll out and standards with investors.
