The Opportunity

This is a newly shaped role within a growing drinks business, created to accelerate performance across Cash & Carry, Wholesale and wider Off Trade sub-channels. While the business is well established in Grocery, there is a clear opportunity to significantly increase penetration and visibility across wholesale routes to market — and this role will lead that charge.

Reporting into the Head of Off Trade, you’ll combine new business development, strategic wholesaler partnerships and hands-on execution, while also supporting selected Grocery accounts where required.

The Role

  • Build strong relationships with regional and national wholesalers, depot managers and buying teams
  • Lead customer planning, pricing, promotional activity and range execution within wholesale accounts
  • Support the National Account Controller on key Grocery customers where required, ensuring alignment of strategy and activation
  • Work closely with Marketing to deliver effective in-depot activity, promotions and point-of-sale
  • Track market trends, competitor activity and customer performance to inform future growth plans
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports and commercial updates for senior stakeholders

About You

  • Proven sales experience within Drinks, ideally Beer
  • Strong working knowledge of the UK Cash & Carry / Wholesale landscape
  • A commercially minded operator with a track record of winning new business
  • Confident managing customer relationships end-to-end, from negotiation through to execution
  • Self-starter mindset — comfortable working autonomously with national responsibility
  • Highly organised, analytical and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Passionate about beer and the wider drinks industry
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility for nationwide travel

Why Join?

  • A genuinely strategic wholesale role with clear headroom to make impact
  • Strong existing Grocery foundation to build from
  • High autonomy and visibility within the commercial team
  • Competitive package with performance-related bonus
