About the Role
We are seeking a Fleet Sales Specialist to support the continued development and expansion of the Changan brand in the UK by working closely with the sales and operations team to ensure the smooth day to day operations whilst growing the fleet volumes across various sales channels.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the business at a pivotal moment as we enter our growth phase and launch new products in the UK market. The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, proactive, and have a thirst to grow in the automotive fleet industry.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's 2:2 degree.
- Previous 3 years’ work experience.
- Full UK driving license.
Skills we are looking for:
- Successful candidate should have thirst to learn and get ahead. This role will require strong communication skills both oral and written and will involve creating presentations and presenting data along with writing to dealers and customers.
- Analytical skills – Interest and capability to analyse and interpret data and report on results – Microsoft Office Proficient with strong excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work cross functionally with other teams whilst prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
CRM Activities
- Support on the issuing of contracts and updating customer terms agreements and ensuring these have been loaded into quoting systems.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure all vehicles are provided with the right level of discount.
- Allocating stock vehicles for batch opportunities.
- Reporting of sell down rates and available stock.
- Handling incoming fleet enquiries.
- Organise vehicle demonstration requests from customers, communicating to ensure the vehicle is prepared and delivered on time to meet the customer expectation. Follow up all demo requests to ensure the customer receives a great experience.
Marketing
- Support on all fleet marketing activities. Develop and manage the Changan fleet database, ensuring regular contact and follow-up with customers, arranging invites to events and ensuring customers are kept updated.
- Support on planning, execution and fleet marketing event activities.
- Raising awareness of the Changan brand by undertaking business development activities and organise appointments for the fleet sales team.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and risks in the UK leasing and broker space, proposing strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
Operations
- Reporting on vehicle order bank, future demand planning, order processing for fleet opportunities.
- Ensure all customer terms are live and up to date and issued in a timely manner.
- Track and report on channel performance, including vehicle volumes, margins, customer acquisition, and partner satisfaction, providing regular insights to the senior leadership team.
- Tracking and reporting on market data residual value, TCO and SMR bench-marking to ensure Changan remain competitive.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, internal stakeholders, and external organisations to ensure the successful growth of the Changan brand in the UK.
- Support on competition of customer tenders.
