Founding Engineer AI Infrastructure for FinTech

TRAKD have partnered with an AI start-up, building a new kind of financial infrastructure layer one designed for a world where AI agents, not humans, run day-to-day financial operations.

Their product lets platforms embed AI-driven financial workflows directly into their own products, fully white-labelled, API-first, and designed to operate at scale for small businesses.

Think: the invisible engine behind invoicing, payments, expenses, and financial admin without SMBs ever needing another tool.

They are now looking for a Founding Engineer to help build the core system from the ground up.

This is not a “join and optimise later” role. You’ll be in the middle of everything.

• Design and build the core platform end-to-end (APIs, backend, product surfaces)
• Architect multi-tenant systems that embed cleanly into third-party platforms
• Build real agentic workflows using LLMs as part of the core system
• Ship quickly, own what you ship, and improve it with live customer feedback
• Make architectural calls alongside the founders — and live with the consequences
• Lay the foundations that the rest of the company will scale on
