Double Day Shift
Mornings (Monday – Thursday - 5:45am - 13:30pm & Friday 5:45am - 12:15pm)
Afternoons (Monday – Thursday 13:15pm - 21:00pm & Friday 11:45am - 18:15pm)
Precision Manufacturing Business
My client are a precision manufacturing business, based in Birmingham, specialising in machining and assembly of high value, low volume components, for highly regulated industries. Working within a Lean production environment using Lean methodologies the CNC Setter Operator will be required to set and operate the CNC machines efficiently and effectively producing quality components to satisfy customer requirements.

Job Description
- Efficiently set up and operate CNC machine tools to required performance levels.
- Produce precision components in various batch sizes within tolerance and quality standards.
- Inspect parts using measuring equipment (CMM, verniers, micrometers).
- Read and interpret CNC programs, customer drawings, and make minor program edits when required.
- Maintain machines, monitor fluid levels, and report faults promptly.
- Support continuous improvement through root cause analysis and cross-functional teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as required to support production operations.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of setting and operating CNC Machinery
- Experience in 5+ axis machining or Mill/Turns
- Small batch work experience
