Controls Engineer – TIA Portal

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor systems and associated automated machinery. The role will focus on PLC programming, system integration, and on-site support for material handling and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• PLC programming and modification using Siemens TIA Portal
• Design, develop, and commission control systems for conveyor systems and automated machinery
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and optimisation of existing control systems
• Integration of sensors, drives, HMIs, and safety systems
• Support commissioning and site acceptance testing (SAT/FAT)

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
• Background working with conveyor systems and industrial automation
• Knowledge of electrical control systems and industrial networks
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently on live systems
• On-site commissioning experience preferred

Desirable

• HMI development (WinCC)
• Drive systems and safety PLCs
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or material handling environments
