Business Development Manager roles within the recently created vFleet Division (Fleet & B2B) at vMobility Group


Field based with time at Head Office - Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, B37 7YS


Working for the Division’s Managing Director your role will be to drive revenue growth through new business hunting


Key Responsibilities


New customer acquisition


• Proactively prospecting both self-generated and company provided leads

• Researching prospects on line and adapting sales messages accordingly

• Setting and attending both face to face and virtual appointments

• Presenting both company standard and prospect specific materials to ‘tell the story’ and present the

features and benefits of all relevant services

• Developing tailored proposals, overcoming objections and closing new business deals

• Agreeing rates and terms with your Line Manager prior to presentation to the prospect


Customer management


• Develop relationships with newly signed customers, ensuring revenue forecasts are achieved

• Cross-selling additional products

• Develop margin improvement plans in line with targets


Activity


• Effective diary management to optimise time in the field

• Representing the company at specified events and always acting as an ambassador for the business

• Consistently achieve activity targets in terms of outbound calls, face to face appointments and virtual

appointments

• Execute the agreed prospect contact management plans

• Maintain the designated CRM system on a daily basis

• Prepare reports and updates as required

• Outbound prospecting calls

• Outbound prospecting decision-maker contacts

• Weekly face to face appointments

• Weekly virtual appointments

• Proposals presented

• New customers signed

• New customers spending

• Revenue achievement

• Margin achievement

• Average customer revenue

• Cross-selling performance


Personal profile


• Motivated and resilient, able to handle rejection

• Strong work ethic, results focused with a determination to succeed

• Experience of new business sales including cold calling would be advantageous (must be B2B but in any

industry)

• Ability to grasp and articulate the sales arguments linked to the products being sold

• Naturally persuasive, good listening skills, demonstrating clear commercial acumen

• People person, strong social skills

• Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills

We are offering a basic salary of £35K with an uncapped commission scheme, additionally a company car, lap top and mobile phone as well as a pension scheme and 22 days holiday (in addition to Bank Holidays).
