Senior Structural Revit Technician

Location: Primarily Remote (London collaboration sessions every 2 weeks with the team so preferred candidates based in the south-east)

Type: Full-time


About the Role

We are a growing Revit outsourcing company seeking a Senior Structural Revit Technician to join our team. This role suits an experienced technician who enjoys delivering high-quality structural models across UK projects while working flexibly in a collaborative environment.

The role is primarily remote, with fortnightly in-person collaboration sessions with the rest of the team in London for coordination, technical discussion, and team development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate, high-quality structural Revit models and drawings
  • Work across a number of sectors but primarily commercial and residential projects, including new build and refurbishment
  • Model and detail steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry structures
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines
  • Ensure outputs meet UK standards and project requirements
  • Support QA processes and consistency of deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of Revit standards, workflows, and best practice
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members as required
  • Attend internal meetings and contributing to project delivery discussions


Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working on UK-based structural projects
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structures)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential (We work primarily in Revit, but AutoCAD is used for legacy information, references, and coordination.)
  • Proven experience with: Steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
  • Commercial and residential developments
  • New build and refurbishment projects
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Good understanding of UK construction methods and detailing standards
  • Ability to independently manage and deliver project drawing and modelling work from setup to issue
  • Keen attention to detail, with pride taken in presentation and the care and accuracy of every drawing produced
  • Genuine interest in building structures and engineering design
  • Proactive with strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work to a variety of different drawing standards


Desirable

  • Experience in a consultancy environment
  • Familiarity with BIM Level 2 workflows
  • Experience using coordination tools such as Navisworks
