White Horse is working exclusively with a long-standing client, who is a leading technology solutions provider supporting key sectors across the UK.


Our Client is looking for an ambitious and proactive Account Manager / Business Development Manager to drive growth.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your sectors.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and onboarding.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand client challenges and position tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams on proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently hit or exceed sales targets.
  • This is a 60% Account Manager, 40% Business Development role


Experience & Knowledge

  • 3–5 years’ experience in consultative sales, ideally in IT solutions, software, or technology services.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions for the public sector or regulated industries.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Bid Experience

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

Location & Travel

This role can be based in the Isle of Man or the UK or it can be Fully Remote with visits to the Isle of Man when required. Occasional travel to other offices, industry events, and client sites will be required, sometimes involving overnight stays.
