Sales Development Representative (SDR)
This function will cover our core products; one is a market leading funding product for pharmacy and dental businesses in the UK based upon their reliable NHS revenue stream and expanding into new sub-sectors and jurisdictions.
The other product is Childcare. Our newest innovative finance solution gives nursery business owners confidence to grow their business, acquire new nursery sites and cover cashflow shortfalls.

As an SDR you will build a portfolio of new clients and your success will be driven by your perseverance, ability to hunt prospects, understanding of their business and the ability to articulate a strong value proposition. You will be joining a growing and dynamic team working from our London office.
This is a high-impact role which will be primarily interacting with entrepreneurial business leaders. The target candidate is seeking a young fast-growing fintech and a role where they can deliver something special.
Responsibilities;
- Build a deal pipeline and actively close deals across the core product areas.
- Use a variety of sources including self-generated opportunities to build and maintain a qualified pipeline of sales opportunities:
- Use Direct Selling methods – Cold calling, emailing, social and other channels to generate new business conversations
- Work with Indirect Sales partners to qualify and close inbound leads
- Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to qualify and nurture new leads
- Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the Sales Executives
- Leverage and enhance sales and marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce/LinkedIn/Hubspot) and resources to best enable the sales process
- Report daily, weekly and monthly performance against KPIs, metrics and targets
- Maintain prospect and customer database, and individual pipeline in CRM tool
- Build expertise and presence in relevant industry sectors
- Clearly and concisely articulate TradeBridge’s value proposition
- Build credibility amongst prospective clients in the market
- Develop your own sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales volumes and revenue targets
- Input into development and execution of sales and marketing strategies
We are looking for the following:
- A hands-on, self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new markets and industries, together with demonstrable digital fluency
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt and solve challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Seeking experience of B2B sales, preferably in a finance-related business, selling into both
SME’s and large corporates
- A passion for understanding accounting principles (in particular the working capital cycle)
- Ability to travel and other languages are an advantage.
