Sales Account Manager – Enterprise Network Solutions

Location: Manchester, M2, City Centre (Hybrid)

Package: £50,000

Bonus: OTE double base salary / + Uncapped

The Opportunity


Following a successful period of growth, MLR Networks have opened a second commercial office in the heart of Manchester City centre at St. Michaels. This prestigious 5-star location will be the heartbeat of MLR’s commercial team. Positioning us strategically in the Northwest allows us to both support our ever-growing customer base and lets us hire the most talented commercial professionals in the region to help us achieve our business goals & objectives through 2026 and beyond.


For our next phase of growth, we’re looking for commercially driven Account Managers to inherit an existing client base and drive the growth of these customers through relationship building and technical consultation around suitable solutions. We are also looking to unearth new clients through strategic business networking & development. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building long-term partnerships, packaging comprehensive services, and unlocking new revenue streams.

What You’ll Do


  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing spending accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand service offerings
  • Lead client engagements from solution design through to delivery
  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams to craft tailored wraparound solutions
  • Drive new business through networking and industry engagement
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate account development plans and pipeline forecasts


What We’re Looking For


  • Experience selling managed services and long-term IT solutions
  • Proven success in account management and solution-based sales
  • Cisco Meraki experience
  • Cyber Security Experience is Advantageous
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Technical understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure
  • Additional Cisco knowledge is a plus (training provided)
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented
