Electrical Design Engineer – Aerospace Sector (Inside IR35 Contract)

Location: Bristol or Runcorn (Hybrid Working Model)

Contract Type: Inside IR35

We’re looking for a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support advanced aerospace projects. This is an Inside IR35 contract role based in either Bristol or Runcorn, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

·Electrical wiring design using Catia V5 and NX with electrical workbench capabilities.

·3D modelling and CAD installation analysis of electrical looms/harnesses.

·Draughting and cable routing design.

·Interpretation and implementation of principle drawings.

·Compilation of accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs).

·Circuit design with a focus on fusing and electrical protection strategies.

Toolsets:

·Catia V5 (Electrical Workbench)

·NX (Electrical Workbench)

·Teamcenter

Preferred Experience:

·Aerospace industry experience.

·Electrical design and installation support for Tempest and/or Typhoon Aircraft.

·Familiarity with electrical methods, and processes.

·Delegation of authority for ‘authorised check’ on Tempest and/or Typhoon.

·Awareness of aircraft build processes.
