Production Planner - Contract

  • Contract length: 12 months initially
  • Rate: Up to £42.50 per hour - outside of IR35
  • Location: Crawley
  • Working pattern: 4.5 days onsite, with flexibility for 1 day WFH


The Role:

We’re recruiting a Production Planner / Production Controller on a 12 month contract to support an electronic manufacturing site experiencing strong growth in demand.

You’ll be responsible for final assembly production planning, managing schedules across multiple manufacturing zones in a labour intensive environment.


Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage production schedules across 4 manufacturing zones
  • Monitor production order progress and delivery performance
  • Work closely with manufacturing to maintain schedule adherence
  • Attend OTIF meetings and support on-time delivery
  • Coordinate plan changes with procurement, logistics, and production
  • Create and maintain production performance reports


Skills & experience required:

  • Experience as a Production Planner or Production Controller
  • Proven background in production scheduling
  • Working knowledge of capacity planning
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working on-site


Desirable:

  • Manufacturing or assembly environment experience (electronics beneficial)
  • SAP experience
