Role details:
We are seeking motivated and adaptable Graduate Site-Based Engineers to support delivery across a range of live projects and client sites. This role is ideal for graduates looking to develop a strong foundation in on-site engineering, project delivery and stakeholder engagement within secure and safety-critical environments.
You will be embedded within site teams, working alongside experienced engineers and supervisors, gaining hands-on experience while following an accredited development pathway toward professional and Chartered status.
Due to the nature of the work, these roles are site-based and may involve working across different UK locations depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the safe delivery of engineering activities on live project sites
- Assist with the implementation of engineering designs, work packs and technical solutions
- Prepare, review and update site documentation including method statements, risk assessments, technical reports and drawings under supervision
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary site teams, subcontractors and client representatives
- Support project planning, progress monitoring, quality control and site reporting
- Attend site meetings, inspections and walkdowns to support engineering and construction activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across site operations
- Actively engage in professional development and graduate training activities
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline or related field
- Willingness to work in a site-based role within operational and regulated environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different projects and locations
- Commitment to professional, ethical and safety-focused conduct
- Previous site, industrial or placement experience is desirable but not essential
