Role Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of complex, multi-discipline projects, ensuring quality, financial performance, and delivery requirements are met while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role also holds responsibility for managing and delivering bids and opportunities within the Projects Department and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management capability, methodologies, and technical excellence across the team.

• Build strong relationships with customers and supply chain partners
• Plan and manage project stages, milestones, budgets, and resources
• Provide accurate project reporting and financial control
• Support business change and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading project teams
• Commercial awareness and financial reporting experience
• Knowledge of the railway industry, legislation, and approvals processes

• Project Management qualification
• Bid/proposal experience
• Railway industry knowledge
