National Account Executive - Drinks

London – 3 days per week

£40-45k plus 20% Bonus


Here at Ignite we are very happy to be supporting this amazing soft drinks brand! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, purpose led drinks business as a National Account Executive within the grocery team. The business has built a strong presence across UK retail and direct to consumer, and is now focused on scaling further at pace through grocery.

You’ll play a key role in supporting and growing a set of major grocery accounts, taking on increasing ownership and responsibility as you develop your commercial skillset. It’s a brilliant role for someone earlier in their account management career who wants exposure, stretch and genuine progression within a high growth environment.


What you’ll do


Manage and support a portfolio of UK grocery accounts, building strong day to day relationships with buyers and wider customer teams

Help deliver customer plans that drive sustainable growth across distribution, space, promotions and activation

Support the delivery of new product launches and range changes, ensuring excellent execution both in store and online

Own elements of the P&L for your accounts, with responsibility for delivering agreed sales, volume and distribution targets

Track performance at account and category level, identifying risks and opportunities to inform customer plans

Use data and insight to support sales presentations and build compelling selling stories

Forecast accurately to support availability and effective supply planning

Work closely with brand, design and category teams to bring customer activations to life


What we’re looking for


This role will suit someone who is commercially curious, ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow within a fast paced FMCG business.

At least one year of experience working with UK grocery customers in a commercial or account management role

A solid understanding of how grocery retailers operate, with a desire to deepen commercial knowledge

Strong numerical skills and growing confidence working with data and P&L fundamentals

The ability to build positive working relationships and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders

An organised and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once

Exposure to launching or supporting new products would be a bonus, but is not essential
