Oris is an independent Swiss watch company deeply rooted in Hölstein, where we’ve been making beautiful, timeless, high-functioning mechanical watches for more than 120 years. As an independent company, we value your initiatives that will contribute to the success of our boutique – from organising events and activations, to expanding our B2B network in the UK, and managing our local Instagram & boutique newsletter.
Your main duties
As Direct Sales Development Manager you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, building direct sales opportunities, and nurturing strong client and industry relationships to elevate the visibility and performance of Oris. With a deep understanding of the brand, you will proactively identify opportunities, execute compelling activations, and foster a positive, results-driven team culture.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement the direct sales strategy to achieve ambitious targets including corporate B2B deals, local boutique marketing and partnerships, data-focused CRM initiatives, events and seasonal activations
- Research, network and pitch for Oris partnerships in order to grow corporate B2B deals revenue - managing the full end-to-end process
- Build and execute the boutique activation calendar with a focus on ROI, including customer acquisition and retention
- Grow data capture to enable targeted comms & strong boutique clienteling that can impact footfall and conversion
- Recruit, lead, coach & motivate boutique sales associates to oversee best-in-class clienteling behaviour & deep brand/product knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience, a solid understanding of luxury retail operations and a proven track record in sales, business development, corporate deals and partnerships
- Commercially savvy and detail-oriented, with strong business acumen, budget & project management skills, and fluency in MS Office including Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including networking, relationship-building, clienteling and team-building
- Highly motivated, passionate and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and high personal presentation standards
- Able to work weekends, and seasonal periods when required
