Counter Manager
Lead a retail sales team to achieve strong results, deliver excellent customer service, and grow business through product knowledge, customer relationships, and in-store activity.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance
- Drive team sales to meet or exceed targets
- Actively sell products and increase average spend
- Manage budgets, stock orders, and sales performance
- Plan and support in-store promotions and events
Team Leadership
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members
- Identify training needs and support performance improvement
- Manage daily operations, rotas, and administration
Customer Experience
- Deliver personalised consultations and product demonstrations
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Attract new customers through proactive engagement
- Maintain customer records in line with data protection standards
Operations & Standards
- Monitor stock levels and maintain visual merchandising
- Ensure company policies and store procedures are followed
- Work closely with store management and senior leadership
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in retail or beauty management
- Strong sales skills and results-driven mindset
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- Professional, organised, and customer-focused
