Job description

We’re seeking a creative and data-driven Digital Marketing Account Manager with a passion for copywriting, SEO, PPC and social media marketing. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, helping them grow through compelling content, smart digital strategy and effective campaign delivery.

You’ll act as both a strategic partner and hands-on marketer, crafting engaging copy, optimising for search and co-ordinating cross-channel campaigns that deliver real business results.


Work hours: 9pm – 5pm Monday to Friday

Experience: 2–3 years

Location: Hybrid/Remote (One day every three weeks in office in Leatherhead, Surrey preferred)

Reports To: Agency Founder/ Account Director


Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Strategy

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted and lasting relationships.
  • Develop digital marketing strategies that combine SEO, content and social media to achieve client goals.
  • Present campaign ideas, reports and performance insights clearly and confidently.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities for growth and optimisation across client accounts.


Copywriting & Content

  • Write high-quality, engaging and on-brand copy for websites, blogs, social posts, ads and email campaigns.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency and SEO alignment.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure messaging and visuals are cohesive.


SEO & Analytics

  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform strategy and content planning.
  • Optimise web pages, blog content and metadata for organic search performance.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console and SERanking
  • Support link-building and technical SEO initiatives in collaboration with internal specialists.


Social Media Management

  • Oversee social media content calendars and campaign delivery for multiple clients.
  • Create engaging posts tailored for different audiences and platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and recommend improvements.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends, tools, and platform updates.


Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a digital marketing or account management role (agency experience preferred).
  • Graduate degree, marketing certifications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone and voice across brands.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, keyword strategy and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing and reporting on social media performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Google Analytics & Google Search Console
  • SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz
  • Meta Business Suite / LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
  • Email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong client communication skills — confident presenting, problem-solving and managing expectations.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience running paid social or PPC campaigns.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and UX principles.
  • Google or Meta certifications.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO).
  • Track record of delivering results
