ESP is looking for a Account Executive

Job description

Senior Account Executive – Managed Cyber Security Services

UK – Remote (with client engagement as required)

£75k–£85k base + Uncapped OTE

Managed SOC | MDR | Cyber Security Services

A strong opportunity to join a specialist cyber security services provider supporting organisations with 24/7 managed detection, response, and security operations.

This role is suited to a senior, consultative sales professional who has sold Managed SOC or closely related cyber services and understands how to navigate the buying landscape within public-sector and regulated environments.

The Business

The organisation delivers end-to-end managed cyber security services, helping customers protect critical infrastructure, meet compliance requirements, and respond effectively to modern threat landscapes.

Customers operate in environments where security assurance, resilience, and trust are non-negotiable — making this a value-led sale with genuine impact.

The business is investing in senior commercial talent to support growth across commercial & public sector markets

Your Role: Senior Account Executive

You’ll take ownership of strategic new business opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders and positioning managed security services as a long-term partnership rather than a transactional purchase.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles for Managed SOC, MDR, SIEM, and cyber assurance services
  • Engage decision-makers such as CISOs, Heads of Security, IT Directors, Risk & Compliance leaders
  • Sell into large commercial companies and public-sector organisations (central government, local authorities, health, education, or similar)
  • Build compelling value cases around risk reduction, compliance, resilience, and operational maturity
  • Work closely with technical and service teams to shape credible, outcome-focused proposals

What You Bring

  • Proven experience selling Managed SOC or closely related managed cyber services
  • Strong understanding of public-sector procurement, buying cycles, or stakeholder structures (even if focused on one specific area) would be advantageous but not essential
  • Track record of closing multi-stakeholder, high-value service contracts
  • Comfortable translating technical security concepts into business-level outcomes
  • Self-sufficient, credible, and trusted at senior stakeholder level

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Specialist cyber security services with clear market demand
  • Senior, high-trust sales role with autonomy and ownership
  • Competitive base salary (£75k–£85k) with uncapped commission
  • Remote working model with meaningful client engagement
  • Opportunity to sell services that genuinely protect critical environments
