Purpose of the Role

This role owns growth by winning new service provider and end user customers, expanding existing accounts, and building a high‑performing sales team. It combines enterprise hunting, account development, marketing leadership, and people management to turn Cistor’s networking capabilities into commercial outcomes for mid-to-large organisations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a customer acquisition and expansion strategy to win new logos and grow wallet share in existing customers.


  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of new and expansion opportunities through targeted outbound activity, campaigns, referrals, and partner-introduced opportunities.


  • Create and run campaigns that generate qualified first meetings and opportunities with prospects and new buying centres in current customers.


  • Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities, mapping decision-makers and influencing early-stage buying cycles.


  • Build trusted senior relationships in new and existing accounts via meetings, events, and high-impact networking.


  • Own the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature for new logos and expansions, working closely with technical and delivery teams.


  • Partner with Cisco account managers on joint go-to-market plans focused on new customer acquisition and growth in shared accounts.


  • Use data and insight to refine activity, manage pipeline health, and improve conversion.


  • Attract, hire, and onboard high-calibre sales talent aligned to Cistor’s values and proposition.


  • Coach and develop the team through 1:1s, joint meetings, and deal reviews, creating a high-performance, high-engagement culture.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven record in enterprise new business (hunter) roles in technology or IT services, with clear evidence of winning new end user customers.


  • Success expanding existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell.


  • Experience running marketing and demand generation that directly creates pipeline and supports deal closure.


  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to shape early buying decisions.


  • Track record of building senior relationships with C-level and procurement in new and existing organisations.


  • Experience leading and developing salespeople and creating high-performing teams.


  • Familiarity with Cisco’s ecosystem, partner programs, and portfolio is highly beneficial.


  • Strong planning and execution across outbound, campaigns, and events, with confident senior-level communication.
