Role Purpose

The Commercial SDR, Fire Safety Systems is a results-driven, commercially minded role responsible for building new relationships with operational property managers and estate operators, positioning Firetecnics as a trusted, credible partner for the maintenance of life-critical fire safety systems.


The role blends persuasion, technical understanding, and disciplined CRM execution to generate qualified, permission-based opportunities for renewals and portfolio expansion.


This role is designed for an ambitious commercial professional who wants to develop full-cycle sales capability over time, with clear progression into a quota-carrying sales role based on performance.


What You’ll be Doing

  • Proactively build new relationships with property and estate operators through outbound and warm introductions
  • Conduct confident, structured discovery conversations focused on fire safety maintenance and operational pain points
  • Book in appointments for our Senior Business Development team
  • Able to grasp high-level technical concepts and compliance requirements quickly, without needing to be an engineer
  • Secure permission-based agreement to quote or benchmark buildings approaching renewal
  • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene in HubSpot with same-day updates and complete records
  • Participate in pricing discussions, proposal shaping, or joint calls as development towards a closing role


What We’re Looking for:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales development, SDR, or commercial roles
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable speaking with operational and technical buyers
  • Highly organised with disciplined CRM usage
  • Commercially motivated and outcome-focused
  • Demonstrated desire to move into a quota-carrying sales role


Highly Desirable:

  • Engineering degree or technical qualification
  • Experience selling maintenance, engineering services, or regulated systems
  • Exposure to fire safety, life safety, or building services environments
