Job description

Senior Electronics Engineer / Senior Hardware Engineer - £60,000

Location: Cambridge, UK | Full-time | On-site

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end electronics development: schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, testing and diagnostics
• Support production PCB manufacture, including test jig design and component selection
• Manage EMC and safety compliance processes
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, software and manufacturing teams

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in electronics development
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Strong hands-on debugging skills using standard lab equipment

Desirable

• Altium experience
• Low-power, battery-operated design
• RF design and testing
• Experience with environmentally protected hardware
