Senior Manager – Commercial Due Diligence

Our client is a leading global management consultancy with a fully integrated team of professionals across global geographies. They cover M&A advisory services including Commercial and Technology Due Diligence, M&A strategy, and portfolio management to their PE and corporate clients.


This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and ambitious team within a high growth business where you can develop your career further. The firm is looking to hire a Senior Manager within their Transaction Advisory services team who can lead complex Commercial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions, delivering high-quality outcomes under demanding timelines ideally within the Tech Sector


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights on market dynamics, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities, directly shaping client investment theses.
  • Advise C-level executives, deal teams, and investment committees on commercial viability and value creation strategies.
  • Drive origination and growth of CDD and adjacent M&A advisory services, taking ownership for expanding client relationships and market footprint.
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with Private Equity, corporates, and family offices, leveraging your professional network to accelerate business opportunities.
  • Lead proposals, pitch presentations, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Shape and execute the growth strategy for the UK CDD practice while laying the foundations for international expansion over time.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally someone who has a minimum of 10 years commercial due diligence experience from a BIG 4 accountancy firm or Consultancy Firm
  • Experience of leading complex projects
  • Strong methodological grounding in CDD, with the ability to adapt frameworks to diverse client contexts.
  • Must be able to demonstrate success in business development and client relationship management, ideally supported by a strong market presence and network.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations that influence investment decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills, with experience growing project managers and core teams.
  • Deep sector expertise in technology is a plus.
