Risk Consultant (QSRA)

PACE Global is looking for a Risk Consultant (QSRA)

Job description

Risk Consultants (QSRA) x5

Multiple roles across the United Kingdom

£50-90,000 + benefits

I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading consultancy for Risk Consultants with QSRA experience to support high-value, complex projects nationwide.

This role suits someone who wants to be hands-on with quantitative risk, not just managing registers — proper analysis, real influence, and senior exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Quantitative Risk & Uncertainty Analysis (QSRA)

  • Lead and support QSRA studies on major programmes and projects
  • Build and maintain cost and schedule risk models
  • Facilitate risk identification workshops and uncertainty sessions
  • Translate risk outputs into clear, actionable insight for clients

Risk Management & Governance

  • Develop and maintain project risk registers and assumptions logs
  • Support risk mitigation strategies and option analysis
  • Align risk outputs with programme controls, planning, and cost teams
  • Ensure risk processes meet client and industry standards

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Present QSRA results to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Produce high-quality risk reports, dashboards, and summaries
  • Work closely with planners, commercial teams, and project leadership
  • Support assurance reviews and decision-making at programme level

Experience

  • Proven experience delivering QSRA on infrastructure or complex projects
  • Strong understanding of cost and/or schedule risk
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as @Risk, Safran Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or similar
  • Ability to communicate technical risk outputs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within project controls or programme environments

Desirable (not essential):

  • Background in rail, highways, energy, nuclear, water, defence, or aviation
  • Experience working within a consultancy environment
  • Understanding of integrated cost, schedule, and risk controls
  • Professional qualifications or working towards (APM, IRM, PMI-RMP, etc.)

Why This Role?

  • Nationally significant programmes and clients
  • Genuine focus on QSRA quality, not box-ticking
  • Flexible working and strong work-life balance
  • Clear progression within a growing risk capability
  • Opportunity to shape how risk is done — not just follow templates

If you’re a risk professional who enjoys quantitative analysis, stakeholder engagement, and working on projects that actually matter, this is a strong opportunity.
