P6 Planning Engineer

I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading consultancy delivering major infrastructure and engineering programmes across the UK.
They’re looking for a P6 Planner at an early-career level to join a growing Project Controls team in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6
- Update programmes with progress, logic, and forecasts
- Assist with baseline creation, change updates, and look-ahead planning
- Ensure schedules align with scope, cost, and delivery milestones
- Progress, Risk & Change Support
- Reporting & Stakeholder Support
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in a planning or project controls role
- Hands-on experience using Primavera P6
- Exposure to infrastructure, construction, engineering, or major projects
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
