A long‑established, London‑headquartered investment firm with a global footprint is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to expand its presence in the Italian institutional market.

Role Responsibilities

The role centres on raising capital from Italian institutional investors and driving business development for both public and private market strategies. Core responsibilities include:

• Growing and deepening relationships with Italian institutional allocators, including pension funds, insurers, foundations, and family offices.
• Positioning the firm's investment strategies effectively and adapting messaging to specific investor requirements.
• Leading the full fundraising cycle - from first contact through to commitment.
• Working collaboratively with product, investment, and marketing teams to develop compelling materials and deliver a seamless fundraising process.
• Acting as a knowledgeable advisor to clients, providing views on markets, investment themes, and bespoke portfolio solutions.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated success in institutional fundraising or investor relations within asset management, private markets, or alternative investments.
• A strong network across the Italian institutional ecosystem, with a solid grasp of local investor behaviours and allocation trends.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent communication, relationship‑building, and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Location

• London (4 days per week).
• Visa sponsorship can be provided for candidates who require it.
