Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus

We're growing—and we need a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our expansion.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a pivotal role for an ambitious sales professional who wants to make a real impact. As our Business Development Manager, you'll drive revenue growth by winning new contracts in the commercial cleaning sector while representing a company with genuine environmental credentials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development

  • Pipeline Growth: Identify and secure new contract opportunities
  • Strategic Bidding: Lead the tender process from initial lead to final presentation, supported by our extensive library of successful submissions.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct site visits to understand client pain points and propose tailored, fixed-budget solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Drive our 2026 strategy to expand our high-quality service outside of London.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets in the cleaning industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the sales cycle
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
  • Professional presence suitable for engaging with senior decision-makers
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the south of England.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Microsoft Office
  • Right to work in the UK

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or related B2B services
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental business practices
  • Experience with tender processes and RFP responses
  • Existing network in hospitality, retail, corporate, or healthcare sectors
  • Experience selling value-based solutions (not just price)

TYPICAL WEEK IN THE ROLE

Monday: Pipeline review meeting with CEO, plan week's activities, follow-up calls

Tuesday-Thursday: Client site visits, prospect meetings, tender preparation, networking

Friday: Proposal submissions, CRM updates, activity reporting, pipeline management

Ongoing: Cold outreach, LinkedIn engagement, industry research, relationship nurturing
