Location

We are looking for candidates to cover our Leicester/East-midlands and North Nottingham/Sheffield area.


The Role

To identify and qualify sales opportunities and build sustainable relationships with existing and new customers through the provision of technical expertise and knowledge.

Acting as a trusted advisor, work collaboratively with the national Rubix organisation to demonstrate the value proposition and address technical concerns and issues.

Sell complex and technical solutions to new customers in a clear and compelling manner, applying applications-based technical knowledge and experience to solve customers’ problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing and analysing target markets within the designated sales geographies and industry sectors. Collating market data, trends and intelligence, competitor activity and customer feedback.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the annual Sales Budgets; identifying target customers, constructing Sales action plans and targets that align with business goals.
  • Responsible for managing existing customers and developing new business within the designated geographies and industry sectors, and for providing management with accurate and reliable feedback; Quarterly and monthly Sales Pipelines and Forecasts.
  • Play an active role in the marketing and promotion of Matrix.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s CRM database with respect to Customer details, potential and opportunities, expanding Matrix’s reach into target industry sectors.

  • Able to collate and analyse data prepare and present business reports, proposals, presentations and justifications
  • Able to influence and provide confidence when dealing with internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Able to work autonomously, managing your own time, appointments, and client interactions while consistently meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to solve problems in a methodical and logical manner and manage conflicting demands.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring Matrix’s reputation for quality service is upheld.

Industry Expertise:

  • Use in-depth technical knowledge, experience and expertise in MRO activities to offer expert guidance to clients, helping them find the best solutions.

Reporting:

  • Responsible and accountable for developing and executing annual budgets, providing regular forecast updates – managing and maintaining Sales Pipeline reports aligned to project status.
  • Regularly track and report on sales activity, market trends, and forecasted growth to management.
