Client & Field Operations Executive

Amber Employment Services Ltd is looking for a Client & Field Operations Executive

Job description

We are supporting a growing, well-run service business with the appointment of a Client & Field Operations Executive. This is a varied, people-centric role for someone who enjoys autonomy, being out on the road, and working directly with clients and contractors rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

You’ll play a key role in meeting new clients, understanding their requirements, and converting enquiries into long-term working relationships. Alongside this, you’ll be responsible for interviewing and onboarding self-employed contractors, ensuring all checks, documentation and compliance steps are completed correctly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visiting prospective clients to discuss requirements and guide them through service agreements
  • Representing the business professionally in a wide variety of private settings
  • Interviewing, screening and onboarding self-employed contractors
  • Ensuring all vetting, documentation and compliance processes are followed
  • Managing your own diary, routes and appointments efficiently
  • Completing associated administration accurately and on time
  • Working closely with the office team to coordinate scheduling and follow-up

About You

This role will suit someone who:

  • Is confident, personable and comfortable meeting clients face-to-face
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, with an excellent command of English
  • Is organised and able to manage their own workload and diary
  • Enjoys a field-based role with regular travel
  • Can follow established processes and maintain high standards of compliance
  • Presents well and can build rapport with people from all walks of life

This role is not suitable for someone looking for a purely office-based position.

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a ULEZ compliant vehicle
  • Business-use insurance (mileage paid at 45p per mile)
  • Ability to plan routes efficiently across Surrey and surrounding areas

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary of £30,000–£34,000
  • High level of autonomy and trust
  • Structured on boarding and support during the training period
  • A varied, people-focused role within a growing and stable business
