THE OPPORTUNITY 

Are you ready to thrive in a growing team working for one of the UK’s most exciting challenger brands? This is a pivotal Out of Home leadership role at Hip Pop, one of the UK’s most innovative challenger brands within soft drinks. You’ll have full ownership of the UK OOH strategy and an established team to lead. 

As Out of Home Lead, you will own and deliver Hip Pop’s OOH strategy across the UK, building on strong foundations already in place. The role exists because the channel is growing quickly and now needs clear  ownership, direction and leadership to support the next stage of growth. 

You’ll be trusted to shape how OOH operates, not just run it, with real influence across wholesale, foodservice and operator routes.

Hip Pop is an exciting and multi-award-winning challenger brand of soft drinks born in Manchester and destined for the world. 

We exist to challenge the big pop brands with an alternative: drinks made from real fruit, gut-friendly live cultures and fibre. Low in calories, never made with sweeteners, and most importantly, they taste great. It’s  a proper good pop. 

Our attitude is refreshingly honest and light-hearted, serving people who want to make better choices in the products they consume, the people they surround themselves with and the experiences they go through. Our range includes multi-award-winning soda, kombucha and CBD kombucha. We’re available nationwide through retailers including Sainsbury’s, M&S, Waitrose, Co-op, Morrisons, Booths and Bidfood. Since launching in 2019, Hip Pop has experienced remarkable year-on-year growth and is based in the heart of Manchester city centre (Deansgate).

THE ROLE 

  • As Out of Home Lead, you will: 
  • Own and deliver the UK OOH strategy, with clear plans for growth and execution 
  • Lead national wholesale and foodservice relationships, including Bidfood and Brakes 
  • Drive pull-through with operators and outlet groups across QSR, bars, gyms, leisure and regional customers 
  • Lead and develop an existing team of three, setting clear direction, standards and ways of working 
  • Build commercial plans that balance growth, visibility and margin 
  • Work closely with the wider commercial team to ensure OOH activity supports broader brand and retail goals 
  • Stay close to the market, spotting opportunities early and turning them into wins 
  • Success in this role will come from scaling existing relationships, strengthening pull-through and setting the standard for how OOH operates as the business  continues to grow. 


YOUR EXPERIENCE 

Essential: 

  • You’re already established in OOH and understand the landscape 
  • You’ve led wholesale and foodservice relationships and can talk through specific wins 
  • You understand that listings are only the start and can show how you’ve driven sell-through and pull-through 
  • You’ve led a team before and enjoy raising standards and capability 
  • You thrive in a challenger brand environment and can make things happen without layers of process 


This is a senior role suited to someone comfortable operating with autonomy, accountability and pace.

BASED 

Flexible. For the right candidate, remote working with a few days per month in Manchester will be considered.
