Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a leading international manufacturer of belting solutions, who are seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team covering the Midlands region. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate interviews available.
The role of the Sales Engineer is to manage and grow customer relationships, drive sales across existing and new accounts, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Sales Engineer Job Overview
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and structured visit plans.
- Maintain and grow sales with existing customers; generate new business.
- Identify opportunities, provide solutions, and negotiate/manage contracts.
- Report market intelligence and update CRM with accurate sales data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Undertake training and personal development to support company growth.
- Travel across the assigned Midlands region; ensure efficient time and territory management.
Sales Engineer Requirements
- Experience in technical or manufacturing sales; belting or materials handling advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Competent in CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
- Ability to work independently across a large territory.
- Full UK driving licence.
Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Circa £45,000 (depending on experience)
