Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a leading international manufacturer of belting solutions, who are seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team covering the Midlands region. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate interviews available.

The role of the Sales Engineer is to manage and grow customer relationships, drive sales across existing and new accounts, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Sales Engineer Job Overview

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and structured visit plans.
• Maintain and grow sales with existing customers; generate new business.
• Identify opportunities, provide solutions, and negotiate/manage contracts.
• Report market intelligence and update CRM with accurate sales data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Undertake training and personal development to support company growth.
• Travel across the assigned Midlands region; ensure efficient time and territory management.

Sales Engineer Requirements

• Experience in technical or manufacturing sales; belting or materials handling advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Competent in CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
• Ability to work independently across a large territory.
• Full UK driving licence.

Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Circa £45,000 (depending on experience)
